The training room on the second level was virtually empty, save for a few crates and two young men. This room was rarely used; it was half the size of the main training room and nowhere near in as good of condition. But it was all right. It would serve its purpose well enough.

The taller of the two young men, even taller than normal because of the metal coating on his body, took a few heavy steps forward, then drove his right fist into one of the crates. The crate was old and rotten, and when it shattered under the impact, it threw up enough dust and debris to conceal Colossus from the eyes of his companion. When the dust settled, the metal coating on Piotr Rasputin's body had vanished, and several pieces of wood were sticking out of his hand. Blood trickled from the wounds down to his fingertips and dripped onto the floor.

His deep, normally calm voice carried more than a hint of frustration as he spoke to his companion. "I do not understand, Remy."

Piotr could understand; it was very easy to cause mass mayhem and chaos without meaning to when one was a mutant, especially when one harbored a particularly destructive power, like Gambit's explosive touch or his own potentially dangerous superhuman strength. However, he didn't quite agree with Remy's comment on Magneto... but kept silent.

"It does get easier as y'go," he assured Piotr with a nod. "You'll get the hang of it, mon ami." He turned down another hallway towards a medical room, digging out bandages and a pair of tweezers from one of the cabinets.

"Now... t'get that wood outta your hand..."
